Posh Market Garden is Open for Business
I feel fortunate to be able to partner with Blaine’s Farm Store. So, if you live in Palisade and you want to purchase some fresh produce from the Posh Market Garden visit Blaine’s… Or reach out to me and buy directly from your friendly neighborhood farmer! Either way you support our local farming community and that is always a good thing!

Fifty Shades of Green
As I’ve never been one to shy away from a challenge, I’m determined to see, understand, and master the color green!

Building a Bocce Ball Court
Andy and I played our first game two nights ago. He was beating me the whole game until at the very end I had a couple of exceptional shots and pulled ahead and won the game! I was a gracious winner and only danced a little ….

Joyful Moments in the Garden
Little events like these are reminders of how wonderful life is and how much there is to appreciate in the world.

Learning to be Patient
Given our society is hard wired for immediate results I’ve always struggled to be a patient person.

Beehives Come to Palisade Posh
Bringing home the bees …. At one point my back was covered with bees!

A Breath of Life
The joy of seeing greenery on the property, something other than weeds, has also been good for my soul, a real breath of life!

Building a Hoop House
Andy and I built our first Hoop House during our Spring Break ‘staycation’!

Planting a Mini Orchard

Digging a Ditch
Water is very important to the farming and ag community here in Palisade. Colorado as well as numerous other states rely on the Colorado river for its primary water source. With that in mind, when we were looking at different properties, we always made sure the property had water rights tied to the specific acreage.

Moving Into the Art Studio
After months of not having a designated creative space, the studio is finally finished, and I’ve moved in! Words cannot adequately describe the feeling of pure joy I feel as I unpacked both my art and art supplies.

Mapping Out the Orchard
Now that the irrigation, fencing, and paths are in, it is so amazing to see what I drew on graph paper turn into reality!

A Touch of Paint
With the weather still on the colder side, the DIY projects in the main house continue. When the weather is nice, I work outside on the property, when it’s cold, I focus on the inside.
